Nobleboro Historical Society Scholarship Awards 2008 Application Form and Eligibility In spring of 2008 the Nobleboro Historical Society will select the winners for two Society scholarships and for the Eleanor Purney Memorial scholarship. Each of the three scholarships is for $1,000. This application form is for both high school students and for students already attending post-secondary school. Eligible high school and post-secondary students are those who will attend an accredited, undergraduate post-secondary school or college in the 2008-9 academic year and who reside in the Town of Nobleboro. Students who live in nearby towns and are members or children of members of the Nobleboro Historical Society are also eligible. The scholarship awardees are selected based on their character, academic record, and their written statement.
